Set Apart Ministries, Inc. (SAM) is a parallel organization to Still Waters, Inc. of Green Bay, a state certified mental health outpatient clinic. SAM's mission statement is found in Hebrews 10:32-39. SAM is a community of believers helping those who have been through severe trauma. It incorporates counseling, discipling and Bible study along with social and worship gatherings.
In working in this context, we at SAM have come to see the advantages of being in community to help in the healing process. The Life Model has been an important piece in that process. With the growth we've seen for even those severely traumatized, we can see the possibilities for the Life Model in the general faith population. SAM hopes to be a beacon of light to show that there is hope and healing through prayer-focused counseling, Biblical teaching and the support of our family of believers every day.
