We are currently offering coaching services for those people who would like help with a specific goal or goals,  but who do not meet the diagnostic indicators to receive therapy. Our training is through MentorCoach, Inc., an organization that specializes in training experienced mental health professionals to provide this exciting service.

We are very pleased to be able to offer this service as we have found through the years that many of our clients do appreciate this kind of coaching along with specific treatment for their mental health issues.

As a coach, we will not work with someone who has been our personal therapy client in the past but will make referral to the best suited person we can recommend. Since services are often provided by telephone, we are not limited by geographic area in making such recommendations.

Life coaching does NOT involve mental health diagnosis and thus is always on a private pay basis. Insurance companies do not cover coaching. Your privacy can be assured even more fully in this format. There will be goal setting and planning and prioritizing in the area the individual indicates they want to work, whether it be a specific personal goal or career goal. We will be providing our coaching services within the same Biblical worldview as in our traditional mental health services.

Coaching agreements will be fully determined prior to beginning sessions and will usually consist of 1-4 half hour telephone OR in-person sessions monthly. You will be sent initial intake papers and guidelines to help you decide the areas you want to target, as well as progress reports to complete and submit to your coach just before each session for the best use of your time.
